Organisations

The following organisations have expressed an interest in helping out with the Latvian part of the project:

Club "The House"
Club “The House” is an organization for young people, who care about other people and other nations, who are interested in World happenings and are willing to take part in building better society in Latvia. Society, which would be more tolerant and open, better informed and well educated. This is the aim of members of Club “The House” are trying to achieve. We organize seminars, camps, street actions, lectures to inform young people about EU, to spread the idea of democracy, tolerance and respecting Human Righs.

KOVARNIS, Jelgave
They are organising a lot of projects that are connected with youth. The target group of the organisation is youth-active, young, creative people who like to share their ideas with other members of the society.

Aluksnes NVO Center

AEGEE Riga
AEGEE stands for Association des Etats Généraux des Etudiants de l’Europe. It takes its name from the birthplaces of democracy – the Aegean Sea and the first parliament established at the dawn of the French Revolution, Les Etats Généraux. Being the biggest interdisciplinary student association in Europe, it is represented in 260 academic cities, 42 countries and by 17.000 students. Our activity, not linked to any political party, is characterized by voluntarism, non-profitability and secular status of our projects.

Voluntary NGO support centre: "Meridian Plus", Rezekne
The main activities are related to democracy and youth. They work with the program Youth of the European Commission and had several youth exchange projects and are working on projects concerning EU and NATO questions.

IAESTE Latvia RTU
Is part of worlwide known IAESTE family and work since 2002. A team of enthusiastic volunteer students arrange student exchange and look for new possibilities to get experience in professional, cultural and social development.
