Freedom of expression is the codeword.
Public space is the place.
Forty young artists from Armenia, Latvia, Moldavia and Germany work one
week intensively together on the production of art and media. Issued is
the role of media and arts in presenting and representing culture, made
visible in topics such as racism, gender equality and human rights.
How do media and commercials affect us? How can media be used as means to express ourselves? This art and media event turns around the focus and creates media that can themselves be used as voices for free expression.
During this week a mix of street theater performances, video, photographs, internet media, sound art, and texts will be created and presented on the opening party on 12 January 2006.
