Some say: Clothes make the man. Martha Atienza (NL/PI) became intrigued by the thought: "What if 'ordinary' Filipinos wore suits?" In the installation normal people, occupied by their daily routine, wear a suit.
Suits represent decisions and negotiation, travelling and influence. The first world. Most of the Filipinos seldom wear a suit: that is reserved for marriage and death.
