Peace Project in Lommel
Last month Loesje gave a workshop in Lommel (Belgium) about censorship and freedom of speech to a group of German pupils. It was part of an exiting programm developed by Loesje and Across Borders Association (an organisation which sets up projects concerning peace- and remembrance education for both youths and adults). It took place next to the largest German military cemetery with casualties of the Second World War in Western Europe. Several nice Loesje posters came out of the writing session. Nice to know is that Loesje Poland is already preparing for new murals next year.
We'll paint 2 more murals in Warsaw next year -- the texts were chosen by people in an online poll --

* and a Polish text that is not translated into English: Nie rozmawiaj z nieznajomymi / bo jeszcze kogoĊ poznasz -- a rough translation could be: Don't talk to strangers / you might meet someone (meet = more like: make new friends) -- we've never translated it as there's already Don't talk to strangers / talk to people -- which seems a bit close
We'll apply (to the municipality) for permissions now to get the walls so further updates no earlier than in autumn I guess, because of bureaucracy
We'll have soon some other actions in public spaces, there will be some pictures and posting some pics will be much easier than explaining it.

Writing sessions by Loesje Palestine
Loesje Palestine is writing a lot with youngsters in Hebron and Jerusalem. This picture was taken during a creative thinking workshop in a Summer camp organized by "Youth for Jerusalem" Next to it there is one of the outcomes of the writing sessions. It says: SOCIETY WITHOUT FREEDOM / LIKE A BEE WITHOUT BEEHIVE. Festival sticking
Loesje Austria was taken by a festival virus this summer. They went to Rostfest to do some serious sticking. Besides they made a cool new series. You can find all the new posters here
