2) Loesje is searching for people aged 18-25 living in Germany, for a youth exchange in Soria, Spain on the 15-22nd of July, focused on favouring inclusion and develop bridges of social integration through music. The project will deepen the link between popular music and social education to build a fairer future, without barriers of gender, race, social class or others. The working language will be English.

If you are living in Germany, aged 18-25 and want to take part, please apply with CV and short motivation to: rola@loesje.org

From 15 to 22nd of July, 27 young people and 5 youth leaders will share a week of work in the city of Soria (Spain) with the aim of creating initiatives and developing tools to, through music, work values, emotional education, sensitivity, creativity, inclusion and equality, fostering reflection and critical thinking about the culture and values transmitted by the media, social networks and society itself.

It will be a transformative learning experience in which the universal language of music will be used so that young people are authors capable of generating melodies for a more inclusive and just society. MusicAll is a project to favor inclusion and develop bridges of social integration through music. We will deepen the link between popular music and social education to build a fairer future, without barriers of gender, race, social class or others.

Through music we will work on values, emotional education, sensitivity and creativity, fostering expression and communion among peoples in a common language. We can generate and offer alternatives for social inclusion, leaving aside the consumerist, gender and individualist stereotypes. We can create tools that allow us to fight against discrimination and gender violence. Through this project we will investigate and develop initiatives in different branches of popular music, from the interpretation, dissemination and work with music and from the social impact it generates.

The goal of MusicAll is to promote the inclusion of young people and develop bridges of social integration and gender awareness by eliminating cultural barriers through music, non-formal education and creativity.

The Council of Soria, through its Youth Area, is the driving force of the project.

The main problems and needs to be addressed with this project are:

-Fight against discrimination, inequalities, gender violence and all forms of exclusion.

- To make visible the stereotypes, the values of gender and the culture of the image and the social networks and the mass media.

- Resolve the lack of creative control in youth projects and initiatives, highlighting their ability to generate alternatives with visible results and social impact.

- Value sensitivity, creativity and emotional intelligence in the face of the loss of current society values, materialism and mass culture.

- To value emotional health and healthy life habits as a tool for personal well-being and empowerment.

- Highlight the strength of the initiative, entrepreneurship, cooperation and innovation as tools for social change.

WHAT

AIM
It is aimed at young people, women and men, lovers of music in all its forms, as interpreters, DJ's, fans, therapists, social activists, etc ...

Young people who show motivation and commitment to active participation, who are people sensitive to social inequalities and wish to develop projects aimed at generating equality and creativity through music. People who have a critical and constructive spirit and are interested in their personal growth and in building more equitable, sensitive and tolerant communities.

Girls and boys who have cultural and social concerns and want to meet other like-minded young people with whom they can exchange their experiences.

THIS YOUTH EXCHANGE IS FOR YOU IF...

• You would like to reflect on how music influences our cosmovision, how mass media create reality through the transmission of messages with or without music, and how music can be used as a powerful tool to change reality and propose a better world.

• You love music even if you are not an expert.

• You enjoy meeting new people, and love sharing.

• You think another world is possible, and it is also needed. We will use a variety of non-formal methods, based in experiential learning and self-directed learning, combining group work and dynamics, games, discussions and personal reflection.

But our main tool will be how to use music as a common language to promote some values regarding careness, equality, critical thinking, creativity and personal development. The participants are expected to take a central role, and their active participation will be the most important income for the YE and its development. All the group will be responsible for its own learning and the whole process, taking care of each other during the project.

The MusicAll exchange is proposed as a process that, from start to finish, awakens awareness, analyses and deepens inclusion and proposes creatively to use music to combat the problems of gender and discrimination. For this, the first days a group will be generated and the problem will be approached from an analytical perspective and little by little we will deepen in the sociological roots of the discrimination to reflect on the intermediate days and, in the last part of the program to build, produce results that will help fight the starting problem.
